We know it's usually all about the roleplaying games here at GreenRonin.com, but we couldn't be more excited to mention that we're branching out. Our family-friendly card game Walk the Plank will be hitting store shelves in the next few days. We've posted a big art preview, which provides a rare glimpse into the process of creating art for a card game. Watch Ramsey Hong's crazy sketches gel into the final color images that appear in the game. You can also see what the box looks like prior to cutting and folding, and see photos of the actual box and some real cards.
Nothing beats the fun of actually playing Walk the Plank, but this fun preview might tide you over until you can get your hands on the game.
True20 Companion is also available in PDF format.
Chris Pramas has posted a designer journal entry to our Freeport blog. In it he talks about the heart of Pirate's Guide to Freeport, the nine chapters on the city's districts, and provides a preview of Strebeck’s Beer Hall, one of the many many locations found in this upcoming tome.
