GR does UK!

We just crammed some suitcases full of stuff and put Chris and Nicole on a plane bound to England, for a much-needed (working) vacation. We expect lots and lots of pictures of their exploits at GenCon UK, and perhaps a shot glass from London for the Webmaster's slowly growing collection...

Site News

We've been making a lot of changes on this site lately, some which have hopefully gone unnoticed, and others which we hope you see as improvements.

Currently in development are an online store, an improved gallery, and a review tracking system so you can read what everybody has to say about our products before you buy them. If you have requests or suggestions for site changes, feel free to send email to evan [at] greenronin [dot] com.

Jim Bishop presents four new superpowered prestige classes--the Blackthorn, Crusader, Grayback, and Manikin. These powerful classes will change a character forever, and are specifically designed for NPCs. They are a companion piece to Hell in Freeport.

The Legions Love Legions!

Dungeon Crawler Magazine, a free online gaming mag, recently posted a review of Legions of Hell.

You can read another brand-new review of Legions of Hell on RPG.net, wherein a very frightened Andrew Hind wonders just how Chris Pramas came to have so much knowledge of All Things Diabolic.

Legions is also riding high at #1 on the list of Top Ten d20 Products on d20Reviews.com! Our Origins Award-winning Death in Freeport is also well-represented in the d20Reviews database, coming in at #6 on Top Ten d20 Products, and #5 on Top Ten d20 Adventures!

Are You Mad About Freeport?

We are excited to announce that the eagerly awaited Freeport city book is still perfectly on track for a November release, despite having just received a major upgrade! It's now going to be a 160 page hardback sourcebook, and it's sporting a new name: Freeport: The City of Adventure. The book is being written by the heavy-hitting creative team of Matt Forbeck, Hal Mangold, and Chris Pramas, and it features a beautiful poster-sized map of the city. We'll post the cover here for you once we have the art.

GenCon and Beyond

GenCon was terrific and we want to thank everyone who stopped by to see us. We sold out of Death, Terror, and Madness in Freeport, as well as Legions of Hell. We also debuted Hell in Freeport and the d20 System Character Folio. Adrian, one of the Spaceship Zero maniacs, was on hand in full space suit regalia to pass out SSZ fliers and run demos. All in all, it was quite a show. Click here for more GenCon pictures.

Hell in Freeport shipped from Wizard's Attic this week and should arrive in stores next week. The d20 System Character Record Folio will ship from Wizard's Attic next Wednesday.

And yes, it's true, Spaceship Zero has been pushed back a few months. We'd rather take the time to get it right than release a game that's not quite ready. We're now shooting to have it out by November. By Monday we'll have some Spaceship Zero eye-candy posted to help you warm up your ray guns.

October Release!

We are proud to announce our October release, Arcana: Societies of Magic. Kudos to artist Jason A. Engle for the gorgeous cover. Written by Kevin Brennan and James Maliszewski, this d20 sourcebook details six different organizations that use magical means to achieve their ends. You'll learn all about the societies' histories, while gaining access to new skills, feats, spells, and prestige classes. Disturb this inner sanctum to learn more...

Coming tomorrow, pix from GenCon 2001 and news about Spaceship Zero!

Our fearless leader ruling all he can surveyGenCon Update

We've just heard from the troops in Milwaukee. They were too tired to give a convention report, but now, live from Virtual GenCon, we present a little feature about Green Ronin. You might notice mention of Arcane Societies of Magic, which the Webmaster can't wait to hear more about!

Also be sure to check out the purty gold Origins Award Winner sticker on the cover of Death in Freeport.

Thieves in Freeport at GenCon

Our epic Freeport tournament survived a vicious sabotage attempt by an as of yet unidentified devil. The event was listed as a one time event instead of the tournament that it is. This error has been fixed in the onsite computer but is not reflected in the reg book. If you are coming to GenCon and want hot Freeport action, be sure and sign up for Thieves in Freeport. Here's the info:

Event 80204 -- Thursday, August 2, noon to 4 pm
Event 80385 -- Friday, August 3, noon to 4 pm
Event Final -- Saturday, August 4, noon to 4pm
