DC ADVENTURES Hero's Handbook Pre-OrderDC Adventures has gone to print! In just a month you’ll be able to get the final printed game book that brings DC Comics back to roleplaying. The PDF is available today so you can purchase that right away. We’re also offering a special bundle of the book and a discount PDF, and you can get that in three ways:

  • First, you can pre-order the book in our online store. When you do so, you’ll be offered the option of adding the PDF to your order for only $5 instead of the usual $20. You’ll get the PDF right away and the book will be shipped once it’s finished printing.
  • Second, you can pre-order it from your local game store if it’s a member of our GR Pre-Order Plus program, and get a unique code that will let you buy the discount PDF from our online store. Just as with the first option, you pre-order the book and get the PDF for $5.

    Since we just announced the GR Pre-Order Plus program on Monday, it may be that your local store hasn’t heard about it yet. If they haven’t, please spread the word and tell them that they can find more info on the program in the Retailer Support section of our website.

  • Third, you can get DC Adventures from us directly at GenCon. We will have 300 copies at our booth and once they are gone, they are gone. If you score a copy there, you’ll also get one of the codes that will let you get the discount PDF from our online store.

Announcing GR Pre-Order Plus

At Green Ronin we have always valued our partners in the retail and distribution tiers. We love good game stores and we want to see them thrive in the new millennium. To that end we are launching GR Pre-Order Plus, a new program for retailers. This will allow gamers to pre-order our new products through their local game stores and receive the same special deals on PDFs that we offer in our online store. If you are a gamer, ask your local store if they are signing up for GR Pre-Order Plus. If you are a retailer, read on for the specifics of the program.

Program Details

GR Pre-Order Plus is open to confirmed brick and mortar retail stores. Members will be notified when one of our products is ready for pre-order and each will receive a batch of unique codes via e-mail. When a customer pre-orders the product through a member store, the staff need simply pass a code to the purchaser in any way they prefer (e-mail, business card, slip of paper, etc.). The purchaser can then go to the Green Ronin online store and buy the PDF of the product they just pre-ordered for a reduced cost (typically $5) using the code. The Green Ronin online store will offer the exact same terms (pre-order the book, get the PDF for cheap). This will allow customers to pre-order at their local stores and get the same deal as those who purchase direct from Green Ronin.

To sign up for GR Pre-Order Plus, simply send an e-mail with your store’s information (name, location, website, preferred e-mail) to . Let us know if you’d like to be listed in our website’s retail locator; we can show you how to set that up, as well as list you as a member of the program. You’ll get 10 codes to start but if you use them all, simply e-mail again and we’ll send you more.

The first release using the program will be the highly anticipated DC Adventures RPG. We want to start it off with a bang and DC Adventures will do just that.

Dragon Age RPG Set 1 Errata and Clarifications

We have posted Errata and Clarifications for Dragon Age RPG Set 1. Many of the errors noted in the document were fixed in the second printing, but the first run sold out so quickly that others were not found until after the reprint was underway. We’ve noted where fixes appear in the second printing. The document doesn’t mention small errors like the occasional missing “a” or “the,” though these too were fixed in the reprint where they were discovered.

The SIFRP Campaign Guide pre-order special will end June 1st, at which point you should be able to buy the book at your friendly local game store.

The Dragon Age Set 1 boxed set has been reprinted, and will hit store shelves the week of June 7th. We’ve turned ordering back on for this in our Green Ronin Online Store. Dragon Age Set 1 orders placed through our store prior to June 7 will ship to arrive as closely as possible to when you’ll find the boxed set on store shelves.
