"Living"-style Campaign for MnM

What interest would there be in a "Living"-style campaign for Mutants & Masterminds similar to what's being done with the various RPGA-run campaigns?

I'm looking at the various ways in which a fan-created campaign could be organized, and I'd be interested in other gamers' reactions to such an idea.

The RPGA would have nothing whatsoever to do with the venture, since they don't want to add any new campaigns. This would be completely volunteer-organized, but would in many other ways mimic an RPGA-style campaign.

This is in the very beginning stages, but I am interested in hearing what other people think and if anyone else is interested in working on this project.
