Halifax, NS- This July, Winter is coming to Halifax as the Gelatinous Dudes undertake their sixth annual fund raiser for charity. On July 28-29, the Dudes will play for 24 hours straight to raise money for Adsum House for Women and Children.
Using Green Ronin's Song of Ice and Fire RPG, the players will all be members of a minor Northern house who get caught up in turmoil in the North. The players are big fans of the G.R.R Martin books and the HBO TV series and are looking forward to making their mark on Westeros.
The first Gelatinous Dudes’ 24-hour game was held in July, 2007. Since then the annual event has raised over $4,000 for charity.
Prolific game master, Mike Peterson (aka Zuran_Alda on the Gelatinous Dudes’ forums), will be running this year’s 24-hour game.
