Like the bonus system for the backgrounds, that will make things very interesting and make even similar characters different.
Like the gaining level abilities, makes people really think about where to put there stats and planning. Not sure about the health during level up though, very very odd. that you start out with so much then it goes up a lot slower, have to try a battle but I'd be concerned that as you go up it doesn't seem like you can take more then a several levels earlier. Also starting health mage vs warrior... seems too small just looking at the base numbers to me. Again need to try out a battle
Woot, crossbow aren't as broken as then are in Origins, man they were overpowered in the game compared to bows. First look at the swords I'm not liking, damages just seem off specifically short sword vs long sword. 1d6+2 is barely weaker then 2d6, think it should be 1d6 vs 2d6 and with the str requirements, short sword seems slightly better then the long sword.
Dogs are covered, good very very happy about this.
Like the mana regen system, I have always like this type of mana regen system. Spell casting stunt system is sick, particularity like the Fast Casting, makes things very interesting and feel more like and epic character.
Dying rules are sick, and I am 100% adding PC rules to NPC. Make your party really think of the targets they hit first. Oh, and if you allow PvP watch who you make angry, they make Coup De Grace you during combat before the mage can heal you LOL.
No spot for Focuses on your character sheet? odd.
