When you say "really aggressive ones", do you mean like really aggressive recovering alcoholic? As in goes after everyone trying to enjoy a nice Ale at the Tavern?

Cause if that's the case, I'm gonna have to play one of those super-lush, drunken master style, can't do anything right unless he's totally smashed... Oh wait, that is every dwarf, you're right...

I'm going to quote some stuff that was mentioned way back, if you don't mind.

jwduis wrote:-(but most importantly) More adventures for levels 6-10. I know, not appropriate for Set 3, but something like BiF for 6-10 would be great. Is The Deep Roads still on the table?

From announcement: "We'll be following up Set 3 with another adventure collection called The Deep Roads. "
Which struck me as kind of weird, seeing as how GR had mentioned the deep roads a short while after set 2's release. I understand if they want to keep Profane/Rock Wraiths as enemies for higher level players and introduce stone and steel golems as either enemies or allies. But there was already a lot of expansion in the set 2 adversaries section for deep roads creatures.
I feel that releasing it first, but having a set of 3 adventures, one for level 6 one for level 8 and another for level 10+ players would be the way to go, and also to have a semi-random cave and thaig generator for GMs which scales with level.

Scott McFarland wrote:I really like the idea of Organisations that PCs can join, so Ash Warriors, Legion of the Dead etc having similar 'benefits' to joining the Grey Wardens would be awesome.

I'm hoping that Seekers of the Chantry will appear in Set 3 too - either as a further Specialisation option for Templars or an Organisation.

And maybe look at Mage fraternities (gain access to unique spells etc?)

+1 for the mage fraternities.
And hopefully we will get expanded info and an organisation for Silent Sisters. The wiki entry has barely 2 lines! but that's what you get for being a secretive organisation.

Looks like I'm really looking forward to the Deep Roads installment, even if one of my players is dreading it a bit (he hated all the grinding in the CRPG)

PS: Also Nug stats! including prices dead or alive, nutrition and recipes!

Tick tock GR! Only 8 hours left (GMT) to get the Set 3 playtest out by the end of January.

Maybe it was literally the end of January. Like 11.59 tonight :D

Bear in mind that GR is on the west coast, if I'm not mistaken, which means right now it's only 7:39 am there, I doubt anyone is even in the office yet, and if they are, they are probably fumbling with the coffee maker :D

Times up!

Boo hiss and all that malarkey. I actually don't really mind though as our group was on hiatus for a few months and we're only level 5. Just super excited to see the playtest rules.

I presume similarly to the Set 2 playtest we won't get any of the nice fluff or anything?

I'm hoping this doesn't get delayed too much, I just started playing and our group would like to be able to plan ahead for our specializations. Since more will probably show up in set 3 it would be nice to have a look there as we start playing.

My players are currently in a holding pattern having just reached 42,499xp each.

We'll switch to a 1st level Star Wars Saga Ed game on Friday night.

Not our first choice but hey, life goes on.

Holy crap, why play d20? Savage Worlds does Star Wars so much better and there are a couple of bad ass conversions out there.

Maybe because some of us find Savage Worlds/Fate/Burning Wheel to belong in the same discount bin as such gems as Fatal.

***Edit***

Now how about we get back to talking about Dragon Age and stop pissing on the games other people enjoy? Or do we really want to turn this place into rpg.net?
