Size of Feralden

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum here but have been looking around a bit and can't see the answer to my question. Apologies if this has been asked before but just how big is Ferelden? I've seen no scale on any of the maps and though people may not want to tie it down that way I just wondered if there was any official guidance?

I've always reckoned that its not massive, by that I mean its about the size of Britain, around 800 miles across.

Your views greatly appreciated.

Look at the map from Dragon Age set 1. In the left corner you'll see that 1 inch = 18 miles.

According to Green Ronin's Set 1 map here are a couple of distances:
Orzammar to Denerim = 255 miles
Lothering to Denerim = 150 miles
Orzammar to Lothering = 140 miles

These are not exact, and are "as the crow flies", but should give you a good idea of its size.

Sounds about right if you measure it. I measured Denerim to Orzammar and it was about 253,5(if I remember correctly)

I got the set I have second hand and it didn't come with the map. All that info's really useful.
