’Nathan Burgoine is a tall queer writer of mostly shorter queer romances and/or speculative fiction. His debut, the semi-superhero novel Light, was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award, and his YA novel, Exit Plans for Teenage Freaks, about a gay high school student who develops a teleportation problem, was a finalist for the Prix Aurora Award. He’s also written two urban fantasy novels, six romance novellas, and dozens of short stories, including his collection of linked queer speculative fiction, Of Echoes Born.
