Shark Week! Free Chronicle System PDF: Great White Shark

Great White SharkShark Week wraps up with a Chronicle System entry, compatible with the Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying Game. And it’s the big one: stats for a great white shark. If you were watching earlier in the week, you’d have seen our devs share another sharky idea for your SIFRP campaign: “Did you know that House Farwynd of the Lonely Light, a House of Ironborn, is said to have skinchangers who bond with sea lions, walruses, and spotted whales? It’s probably not too far off to imagine a scion of House Farwynd who can skinchange with a shark!
That wraps up our version of Shark Week here at Green Ronin. Feel free to leave us feedback on our week of shark-themed freebies on our message boards.

Shark Week! Free Rogues Gallery PDF: Megalodon

Free Rogues Gallery PDF: Megalodon the Man-Shark

Thursday’s Shark Week freebie is a bonus entry for the Rogues Gallery: a new update of one of Freedom City’s tragic villains. Dr. Connor Kirkstrom is a brilliant man, but knows a savage, remorseless killer dwells inside him. Megalodon the Man-Shark, his bloodthirsty Mr. Hyde, is perversely proud of his place at the top of the world’s food chain, considering all other creatures beneath him. Only other sharks are potential peers, and even they must bow to his superior will.

Tomorrow, fans of our A Song of Ice and Fire RPG will get their Shark Week freebie.

Bill Sangapulatele of Freeport’s Tranquil Shark Protection Agency

Shark Week’s Wednesday freebie is the Tranquil Shark Protection Agency from the pages of Freeport: City of Adventure for the Pathfinder RPG. Positioned on the edge of Drac’s End, the oddly named organization exists to meet the security needs of Freeport’s less affluent citizens. Headed by the smiling Bill Sangapulatele, the Tranquil Sharks use martial arts, community connections, and plain old common sense to defend their clients from assassins, debt collectors, and other enemies. The PDF includes general material on Drac’s End, too.

Tomorrow, it’s back to superheroes with a shark-themed villain for Mutants & Masterminds.

Shark Week! Aquaman and Shark

#sharkweek Download Shark and Aquaman for Mutants & MastermindsShark Week Tuesday is a DC Adventures two-fer: Aquaman and Shark. Yeah, we know Shark fought with Green Lantern a lot more than Aquaman, but how can we let Shark Week go without sharing Aquaman? (And, honestly, we’re a bit excited about Jason Momoa in the role.) Check out page 268 of the DCA Hero’s Handbook for stats for normal aquatic animals, including dolphins, whales, and (of course) sharks. Fans of DC Adventures know that everything is fully compatible with Mutants & Masterminds 3rd Edition, too.

Tomorrow, we’ll return to the fantasy side with a free Shark Week download from Freeport: The City of Adventure for the Pathfinder RPG.

Shark Week! Crystal Sahuagin for Pathfinder

#sharkweek Crystal SahuaginHere at Green Ronin, we got word that this was Shark Week. We decided to get in on the fun with some shark-related freebies.

We’re kicking things off with a creature from the Advanced Bestiary for the Pathfinder RPG. Sahuagin are aquatic humanoids who can communicate telepathically with sharks. Infected by brilliant pestilence, a crystal sahuagin can be mistaken for light reflecting brightly off the waves. Groups of crystal sahuagin often make hit-and-run attacks against sailing vessels, hoping to infect the ships’ crews. In this way, they can create plague ships that in turn infect the populace of a port city with brilliant pestilence. For extra fun, add the crystal template to the sharks, too!

Download the shark-controlling Crystal Sahuagin today!

Tuesday’s freebies will be a two-fer from our DC Adventures game, so check back tomorrow for more Shark Week goodness.
